I love this Austin rooftop couple photoshoot! In my recent move to Austin, Texas I was dying to find unique locations to shoot at! Since I no longer had the West Coast as my backdrop, I was on a mission to find unique shoot locations. This rooftop in downtown Austin did NOT disappoint. The raw aesthetic of downtown really allowed us to play with the cool hues and moody vibe that we were going for!
Caleb + Iylah recently celebrated one year together; so what better way to commemorate this special time than with a photoshoot?! I am a firm believer in documenting all of the different stages in your life. There is nothing I love more than documenting my sweet couples’ love! These two were so fun to shoot! The chemistry between them is evident in all of the images we captured.
To start the session in downtown Austin, we brought a blow-up mattress and had a bed on a downtown rooftop. The vibe was moody and all of the images from their couples session feel like stills from a 90’s music video. And let me tell you, I am here for alllll of it! When it came to attire, we went for neutral clothing to match the urban environment and kept the details to a minimum so we could really highlight Caleb and Iylah’s personalities and their sweet love!
This has to be hands down one of my favorite sessions that I have done since moving back to Austin, Texas!
